Sidewall conveyor belt is short for large-angle corrugated sidewall conveyor belt. It consists of a base belt, corrugated sidewalls and cross diaphragms, and high-strength connection is achieved through a secondary vulcanization process. This product originated in the UK and my country introduced production technology from Japan. The base belt includes an upper cover rubber (3-6mm), a lower cover rubber (1.5-4.5mm) and a belt core. The belt core material includes cotton canvas, nylon canvas, polyester canvas and steel wire rope core [4] [6]. The sidewall height is 80-500mm, the diaphragm height is 75-480mm, and the cross diaphragm adopts a T-type or TC-type design to achieve material conveying at 30-90 degrees [3] [5-6]. The improved type sets a transverse polyester short fiber composite rubber layer between the canvas layers, so that the transverse rigidity value of the belt body reaches 0.036 and the load-bearing capacity is increased by 15%-20%. According to the performance of the cover rubber, it can be divided into ordinary type, heat-resistant type, flame-retardant type and other categories [3] [5]. Suitable for coal, mining, port and other fields, it can transport powdery, liquid and materials with a particle size of less than 400mm, with a conveying capacity of 1-6000 cubic meters/hour [4] [6-7]. The metal baffle type is made of stainless steel and is used in glass annealing furnaces, food processing equipment and other scenarios.
