Austria represents one of Europe's most sophisticated and demanding industrial hubs. From the massive steelworks of Voestalpine in Linz and Donawitz to the historic open-cast iron mining operations at Erzberg, materials must move reliably, safely, and efficiently under rugged geographic conditions. In addition, the central European country relies heavily on complex civil infrastructure projects, such as the Brenner Base Tunnel, which necessitate bulk material conveyor systems with superior wear indicators and flame retardant properties.
Furthermore, Austrian industries operate under strict environmental and quality guidelines (EN ISO standards). The alpine winters demand Cold Resistant Conveyor Belts capable of running smoothly at sub-zero temperatures, while its large-scale cement plants (such as Lafarge and Kirchdorfer) demand highly specialized Heat-Resistant Rubber Conveyor Belts. Our layered conveyor belt systems are engineered specifically to match these regional challenges, bridging high-durability polymers with energy-efficient design profiles.
Hebei Boao Rubber Technology Co., Ltd. (producing the internationally recognized "Jinao" brand) is situated inside the Boye County Rubber Industrial Park, Baoding, Hebei Province. Founded in 2004, our facility encompasses over 30 acres of advanced automated production space. By combining the vast raw materials supply chain of China's primary rubber clusters with our specialized chemical laboratories, we provide Austrian plant managers with an unbeatable Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) advantage without compromising on quality.
We perform raw material inspection, polymer compounding, calendering, ply weaving, and final vulcanization in-house. This ensures that every layered conveyor belt meets or exceeds both GB and European DIN requirements.
Our plant operates advanced multi-roll calenders, achieving uniform thickness of inter-ply rubber and fabric (EP/NN/Cotton). This prevents micro-delamination under high flexural stresses in heavy tension systems.
We offer seamless customs clearance and containerized shipping from Tianjin Port directly to European gate hubs (such as Hamburg, Rotterdam, or Port of Koper in Slovenia), coupled with reliable block-train rail transport to Vienna, Linz, or Graz.
Our multi-ply layered belts feature multi-ply textile reinforcement (Polyester-Polyamide EP or Nylon-Nylon NN) vulcanized between wear-resistant covers. Below is our standard manufacturing scope:
| Carcass Type | Fabric Layer Ply Count | Tensile Strength Range | Abrasion Cover Loss (DIN 22102) | Main Austrian Target Application |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EP (Polyester/Polyamide) | 2 - 8 Plies | 200 - 3150 N/mm | < 90 mm³ (Grade W) / < 120 mm³ (Grade X) | Iron ore, aggregate mines, cement plants, and glass recycling |
| NN (Nylon/Nylon) | 2 - 8 Plies | 200 - 3200 N/mm | < 150 mm³ (Grade Y) / < 200 mm³ (Grade Z) | Impact-heavy raw stone loading, high vertical lifts |
| Heat-Resistant (EP/Cotton) | 3 - 6 Plies | 400 - 1600 N/mm | Optimized for high-temperature structural retention | Sinter, slag, foundries, and chemical processing complexes |
| Cold-Resistant EP | 2 - 6 Plies | 315 - 2000 N/mm | Formulated for -50°C extreme alpine conditions | Alpine winter aggregate transport, open-cast mountain mining |

Deep technological insights regarding multi-ply conveyor systems, standards compliance, and operating parameters.
EP (Polyester-Polyamide) conveyor belts feature a polyester warp (lengthwise) and nylon weft (crosswise). This provides low structural elongation combined with excellent resistance to chemical environments. NN (Nylon-Nylon) carcass plies offer superior elasticity and impact resistance, making them ideal for high-impact rock fall applications. For alpine operations down to -50°C, the rubber compounding matrix is the critical component. Our cold-resistant formulations keep the belt cover supple, preventing micro-fractures in either fabric package.
Underground tunneling and mining conveyor operations in Austria and the EU must comply with EN ISO 340 (or equivalent regional safety classes). This test ensures the belt is self-extinguishing and will not propagate fires inside tunnels. Our premium flame retardant rubber formulations are engineered to meet these directives, limiting toxic gas emissions and maintaining mechanical strength under high thermal stress.
For highly abrasive materials (such as quartz, granite, or iron ore), we recommend cover rubber adhering to DIN 22102 Grade W (abrasion loss < 90 mm³) or Grade X (abrasion loss < 120 mm³). A typical cover configuration for high-load systems is a 6mm top cover and a 3mm bottom cover (6+3), which ensures the fabric carcass remains protected against carcass cuts and mechanical fatigue.
Because Boye County is an established industrial cluster for rubber technology, we benefit from streamlined access to premium chemicals and raw polymer supplies. This vertical efficiency lowers our manufacturing costs. In turn, we pass these savings directly to our customers. Our streamlined logistic channels ensure that delivery schedules to European hubs remain reliable and secure.
The peeling test measures the force required to separate the rubber cover from the inner fabric layers (adhesion strength). High adhesion strength (typically > 4.5 N/mm for EP belts) prevents cover delamination caused by constant bending around drive pulleys, ensuring the belt maintains its structural integrity throughout its service life.
